Key Points
* All services, both bus and ferry are FREE for 2 weeks from 3 March 2011.
* If your route is not listed below, it is not in operation.
* Check route information at the bottom of the page for changes to routes.
* All bus services travelling to the city will terminate at either Bealey Ave (northern services) or Christchurch Hospital (western and southern services).
* The Bealey Ave terminus is located at a temporary stop on the south side of Bealey Ave between Durham St North and Montreal St.
* The hospital terminus is located on Hagley Ave between St Asaph St and Riccarton Ave.
* The terminus in each location will have a campervan providing information, plus issue/reload cards as required.
* A shuttle will connect the two city terminus points every 15 mins.
* All services will operate between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm daily, 7 days a week until further notice.
* The last service each day will start its journey prior to 7:00 pm, but will travel on to complete its journey.
* No buses will begin before 7am or after 6.55pm.
* Through routes (services that normally travel via the central city) have been split in half.

**Metrostar**
To New Brighton: services depart from Hornby at :00 and :30 minutes past the hour
To Hornby: services depart from New Brighton at :00 and :30 minutes past the hour

Route changes:
The Metrostar will travel direct from QEII Park to Northlands via Travis Rd and QEII Drive. It will then travel along Main North Rd as far as Heaton St, and then continue along its normal route. It will NOT travel via Bassett St, New Brighton Rd, The Palms, Shirley Rd, Warrington St, Barbadoes St, Edgeware Rd, Springfield Rd, St Albans St and Merivale Mall.

**Orbiter**
Clockwise: services depart from Linwood Ave opposite Eastgate every 30 minutes at :00 and :30 past the hour
Anticlockwise: services depart from Mairehau High School every 30 minutes at :00 and :30 past the hour

Route changes:
The Orbiter will not travel between Mairehau High School and Eastgate Mall (Hills Rd, Shirley Rd, Cresswell Ave, Gayhurst Rd, Gloucester St, Woodham Rd, and Buckleys Rd will NOT be served. Aldwins Rd will not be served on anti-clockwise trips). The normal bus stops at Eastgate will NOT be used – services will begin and end on Linwood Ave opposite Eastgate (adjacent to Linwood Park).

**3 Airport via Avonhead**
To Avonhead/Airport: services depart from Hospital Parkside at :00 and :30 minutes past the hour
To city: services depart from the Airport at :21 and :51 minutes past the hour

**5 Hornby**
To Hornby: services depart from Hospital Parkside at :20 and :50 minutes past the hour
To city: services depart from Hornby at :20 and :50 minutes past the hour

**7 Halswell**
To Halswell: services depart from Hospital Parkside at :10 and :40 minutes past the hour
To city: services depart from Halswell at :10 and :40 minutes past the hour

Route changes:
Services will start and end outside Halswell Pool on Halswell Rd. Areas beyond Sparks Rd will NOT be served.

From the city, buses will travel via Papanui Rd, St Albans St, Springfield Rd, Edgeware Rd, Barbadoes St, Warrington St, Shirley Rd, Marshland Rd, Mairehau Rd, Burwood Rd, Waitikiri Dr, and Alpine View lane to what is normally the 46 Marshland terminus.
To the city, buses will begin at Alpine View Lane and travel via Prestons Rd, Burwood Rd, Mairehau Rd, Marshland Rd, Shirley Rd, Warrington St, Barbadoes St and Bealey Ave.
